‘Dancing with the stars’ pro Karina Smirnoff and fiancé Brad Penny have finally called off their engagement. The two started dating in October 2009, soon after Karina called off her engagement with fellow dancer Makism Chmerkovisky.
New fiancé Brad Penny is an MBL pitcher and had played last session for the St. Louis Cardinals. He proposed Karina in a very romantic style with a 4.5 carat Asscher cut diamond ring designed by Jason of Beverly Hills.
Now an Asscher cut diamond ring is truly romantic! But it seemed that things were not pretty well between the two. Soon after postponing their January wedding, they called off their engagement. The resources said that Karina wanted to concentrate on practicing for DWTS and she was finding it difficult to plan her wedding perfectly.
Well that is completely their personal affair but of course a jaw-dropping Asscher cut diamond engagement ring is a matter of consideration. The center stone diamond in the ring is set on channel set princess cut diamond studded platinum band and costs approximately $95,000. The ring is truly admiring.
